FAQ / GOOD TO KNOW

YOUR
QUESTIONS.

What is ONLYCTF?
ONLYCTF is the Capture The Flag programme of Cyber Month 2026, run by Sensored in collaboration with BMSCE IEEE Computer Society. It has two parts: the ONLYCTF Workshop on Thursday 29 October and the ONLYCTF Competition on Thursday 5 November 2026.
What is a Capture The Flag (CTF)?
A CTF is a cybersecurity competition where you solve security puzzles to find hidden pieces of text called flags. Challenges usually cover areas like web security, cryptography, forensics, reverse engineering and general problem solving. Every flag you capture earns points on the leaderboard.
When is the ONLYCTF Competition?
The ONLYCTF Competition is on Thursday 5 November 2026. Exact timings and the venue will be announced on this page.
How do I register?
Register on the ONLYCTF form: https://forms.gle/8znXZSNTvVADrUiV8. The same form covers the workshop and the competition.
What are the fees, team size and prizes?
Sensored will announce the fees, team size and prizes soon. They will be added to this page as soon as they are confirmed.
I'm new to CTFs. How do I prepare?
Start small and stay curious. Watch a few YouTube videos on how CTFs work and on beginner topics like Linux commands, web vulnerabilities and basic cryptography, then try free practice challenges on sites such as picoCTF. Most importantly, have fun hunting for flags.
Who organises ONLYCTF?
Sensored, in collaboration with BMSCE IEEE Computer Society, as part of Cyber Month 2026 at BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
